On this day sixteen years ago, Americans everywhere felt the devastating impact of the attacks on this country. While it can be difficult to find unity in the news and media outlets, it is encouraging to remember that our country is full of patriotism and capable of incredible love and support in the face of every disaster. We have seen it again in the work already being done to encourage and provide relief to our brothers and sisters experiencing loss from natural disasters ranging from hurricanes and floods to fires and violence. Let us all remember what it is to be an American and pay tribute to the men and women before us who made the ultimate sacrifice and remember what they fought for. We are America. We are one Nation. We will support our family.
Let us not as what our country can do for us, but what we can do for our country.
